Orthoceras is a cephalopod that was a squid like creature that lived 400 million years ago.
This plaque from Morocco is loaded with well preserved Orthoceras fossils and one ammonite, of various sizes exposed from the matrix. They range in size from 5" to 10" long with a nice polish to bring out the fossil details.  The Orthoceras Plaque is 12" x 7.25" and weighs appx. 6.6 pounds.  A beautiful plaque for your collection.
